Liverpool to Reward Salah in a Very Special Way

Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool will allow Mohamed Salah to leave for free next summer as a reward for everything he has given to the Reds.

The “Egyptian King” announced his departure from Liverpool at the end of the current season, despite his contract running until the summer of 2027.

This immediately raised many questions about whether Liverpool would demand a transfer fee for Salah this summer or allow him to leave for free, with the contract being terminated by mutual consent.

According to Romano, Liverpool’s management has decided to accept Salah’s desire to begin a new chapter in his career away from Anfield, and he will leave on July 1st on a free transfer.

Regarding Salah’s next destination, his agent, Ramy Abbas, commented, “We don’t know where Mohamed will play next season. That means nobody knows either (closing the door on rumors).”

The Saudi Professional League remains the most likely destination for Salah, with Al-Ittihad, in particular, showing significant interest in him since 2023. It is likely that Salah will move to a club in the American league, which is accustomed to such deals, and perhaps Italy specifically is the only logical destination for the 34-year-old in Europe.
