Liverpool to Cut Short Star’s Loan and Bring Him Back Immediately

Liverpool’s management has made a decisive decision to cut short Kostas Tsimikas’ loan to Roma and bring him back to Anfield immediately, but only under one condition.

In the past few hours, negotiations have reached an advanced stage between Liverpool and Tottenham for the London club to sign the Reds’ third captain, Andrew Robertson, during the current winter transfer window.

Robertson is inclined to accept the offer, and Liverpool’s management is not opposed to the sale, especially since the Scottish international’s contract expires at the end of the current season. The English club prefers to recoup some money from him rather than lose him for free in June.

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool’s management will not accept finishing the season with only Hungarian Milos Kerkács at left-back, and at the same time, they do not intend to buy a new player when Robertson leaves.

Liverpool has ultimately decided to cut short Tsimikas’ loan and bring him back to finish the season with Arne Slott’s squad, thus giving the Dutch manager two options at left-back.

It is worth noting that the 29-year-old Tsimikas has only played 16 games for Roma since his loan move last June, so he would not mind returning to Liverpool, especially since his chances of starting remain high.
