Hungary coach Marco Rossi claims that Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai has dreamed of joining Real Madrid since he was a child.
Szoboszlai has been one of Liverpool’s standout players over the past two seasons and is known for his versatility, capable of playing in midfield, on the right wing, or at right-back.
Szoboszlai has already been linked with a move to Real Madrid, despite his contract running until the summer of 2028.
Rossi told the media that the 25-year-old would welcome a move to Real Madrid if the opportunity arose.
“Szoboszlai has had one constant dream since the beginning of his career: to play for Real Madrid,” the Italian said.
“I’ve known him since he was a child; Real Madrid has always been his dream,” he added.
Liverpool are reportedly working on renewing Szoboszlai’s contract, who has scored nine goals and provided seven assists in all competitions this season.
Real Madrid are looking for a new player to bolster their midfield, and the Hungarian may be on Florentino Perez’s radar, especially since he has proven his abilities in the Premier League after shining in his early days with Salzburg and Leipzig.
