Liverpool Settles on Salah’s Successor for €100 Million

Liverpool’s management has settled on the player who will succeed Mohamed Salah in leading the Reds’ attack in the future, although bringing him to Anfield will require a very large sum.

According to the Daily Express, Liverpool has its sights set on signing RB Leipzig winger Yann Diomande in a deal initially valued at £87 million, or approximately €100 million.

Diomande is considered one of the most prominent talents in the Bundesliga in recent times, attracting the attention of several major Premier League clubs, particularly Manchester United and Arsenal.

Liverpool’s management is expected to move quickly in the coming weeks to reach an agreement with the player before entering into what will be difficult negotiations with Leipzig to finalize the deal in the upcoming summer transfer window.

To secure the substantial transfer fee for the 19-year-old, Liverpool are keen to sell Salah next summer, viewing it as their last chance to profit from his departure rather than losing him for free in the summer of 2027.

The “Egyptian King” is attracting significant interest from the Saudi Professional League, with Al-Ittihad reportedly prepared to offer a hefty sum, potentially exceeding €100 million, to bring Salah in as their new star striker following Karim Benzema’s move to Al-Hilal.
