Liverpool legend attacks Salah: I love him but he is disappointing and selfish!

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher attacked the Reds star Mohamed Salah for his recent statements, and considered that what he and his agent are doing may indicate “selfishness”.

The Egyptian star had said after the last match against Southampton that he was closer to leaving Liverpool than continuing, indicating that he had not received an offer to renew his contract yet.

Carragher commented on these statements by saying, “I feel disappointed with Salah because of these statements. At the moment, we have to focus on Liverpool, as the team will face Real Madrid and Manchester City in the coming days.”

He also added, “If these statements from Salah continue, with the angry words that his agent publishes from time to time, this indicates selfish behavior. Everyone should now focus on Liverpool only.”

He continued, “Salah is loved by the fans, and I love him too. There are negotiations between him and the club, and this is normal in football. For me, Salah is one of the top 5 players in Liverpool’s history.”

“I just want Salah and people like Van Dijk and Arnold not to feel that if they leave Liverpool will collapse. No, we will miss Salah for sure but the club will move on after that,” he concluded.
