Lewandowski resolves the controversy over his future with Barcelona

Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski stressed that he will not leave Barcelona next summer, and also stressed that he does not feel that he has aged.

Reports from Spanish newspapers indicated earlier that Barca wants to get rid of the player due to his advanced age, with his salary set to exceed 30 million euros next season.

Lewandowski responded when asked about the possibility of leaving by saying, “For me, the matter is clear and there are no doubts. I will play for Barcelona next season.”

He also added, “I am staying with Barcelona and will not leave for any other club. The plan is not in my mind at all.”

As for reaching the age of 36, he replied, “I feel fine and there is no difference between me now and me in the past.”

He concluded, “I am the same player I was three or four seasons ago. Now I am looking forward to the next season and I will give everything in my power to achieve all possible championships.”

It is noteworthy that Lewandowski scored 25 goals this season and made 9 others in 48 matches with Barcelona in all tournaments, but the Catalan club did not achieve any title.
