Robert Lewandowski failed to convert a penalty for Barcelona against Atlético Madrid in their La Liga match on Matchday 19.
The score was tied 1-1 at the Camp Nou when the referee awarded Barça a penalty, giving them the chance to take the lead.
Lewandowski stepped up to take the penalty, but inexplicably, he shot the ball to the right of goalkeeper Jan Oblak, but it sailed into the stands.

This is the second time Lewandowski has missed a penalty for Barcelona in La Liga this season, following another bizarre miss against Sevilla last October.
The Catalans were trailing 2-1 at that time, and the opportunity to equalize was there, but the Polish striker missed the penalty in a match that Barça ultimately lost 4-1.
Overall, the missed penalty against Atlético Madrid was Lewandowski’s third penalty miss for Barcelona in four years (the first against Almería in 2012 and the second against Sevilla).
The 37-year-old is considered one of the best penalty takers in the world, having scored 89 penalties throughout his career for clubs and the Polish national team, while missing only 12.
