Laporta reveals: How will Barcelona respond to Mbappe joining Real Madrid?

Barcelona President Joan Laporta did not hide his disappointment with Kylian Mbappé joining Real Madrid, revealing the strategy with which the Catalan club will respond to this giant deal for the eternal rival.

Barcelona is suffering from a stifling financial crisis in recent years that led to the departure of Lionel Messi, and because of it until now, Barcelona cannot make major deals, unlike Real Madrid, which has a distinguished economic situation.

When Laporta was asked about his opinion on the Mbappe deal, he replied, “As a Barcelona fan, it is not good news for me to see Mbappe joining Raya Madrid.”

As for how Barcelona responded to this deal, he said, “But to be honest, I prefer our strategy based on trusting our project, which relies on young players who were made in the La Masia academy.”

He concluded, “I respect our opponents, but I prefer to maintain our own philosophy.”

Laporta meant in his speech that Barcelona will not make major deals, but rather will continue to promote young players who are reliable in their abilities, just as happened with Lamine Yamal and Pau Kubarsi recently.
