Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has been accused of disrespecting human rights due to the lavish party he held last week to celebrate his 18th birthday.
According to Spanish media, Yamal brought dwarves to the party, which sparked criticism against him for his behavior, which was deemed contrary to ethics, values, and human rights.
The Association of People with Dwarfism and Spinal Deformities in Spain (ADEE) accused Yamal of moral abuse for using a number of dwarves for entertainment purposes at his birthday party.
In a statement, the association considered Yamal’s actions a violation of the dignity of people with disabilities, stating that this behavior contravenes Spanish laws and ethical principles based on equality and respect.
A lawsuit may be filed against Yamal, who has yet to justify or even apologize for his actions. In recent hours, intense social media campaigns have been circulating against the Barcelona star.
This incident is the latest in a series of controversial incidents involving Yamal during his vacation, which saw him meet several women and spark a huge uproar, raising concerns about his mentality and the impact it had on his football career.
