The newspaper Defensa Central reported that indirect contact has taken place between Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and German coach Jürgen Klopp to discuss the possibility of him taking over as manager of the Royal Club next season.
According to the report, Klopp has given his initial approval to coach Los Blancos, but has stipulated four key requirements to ensure the success of his sporting project.
The German coach’s demands focus on strengthening the core of the team. He has requested the signing of a new center-back, in addition to two midfielders, and has also stipulated the return of young Brazilian talent Andrique from his current loan spell at French club Lyon.
Although Klopp has not yet specified any names, he has emphasized that strengthening the midfield is his top priority in order to implement his tactical system based on possession, control, and high pressing.
Regarding the attacking aspect, Klopp expressed great admiration for the Brazilian star Rodrygo, as he intends to give him a pivotal role in the next season to be a key pillar alongside his compatriot Indric, with Kylian Mbappe continuing as the mainstay of the upcoming Santiago Bernabeu project.
