Bayern Munich star Harry Kane confirmed that he has not heard of any negotiations with Barcelona, emphasizing his happiness at the German club and hinting at a possible contract renewal.
Barcelona presidential candidate Javier Vilajona made significant statements regarding his plans should he win the elections, indicating that signing Kane would be his priority to bolster the center-forward position.
Kane’s contract with Bayern Munich still has another year remaining, but he can leave next summer if he wishes. Vilajona believes his current contract situation is suitable and ideal given Barcelona’s complex financial circumstances.
When asked by journalists about the Barcelona transfer rumors, Kane replied, “I haven’t heard anything about that.”
He added, “My father and brother handle these matters, but they haven’t told me anything.”
“As I’ve said before, I’m very happy here at Bayern. My focus is on this season and on Bayern,” he concluded.
German media outlets had indicated that Kean is currently closer to renewing his contract with Bayern Munich than leaving, especially given his warm reception at the Allianz Arena and the fact that Vincent Kompany’s current team seems capable of winning titles.
