Juventus’ woes continue as they lose to Como in Serie A

Juventus suffered another disappointing defeat, this time at the hands of Como, losing 2-0 in the 26th round of Serie A.

The Bianconeri have been struggling recently, failing to secure a victory since their 4-1 win against Parma earlier this month.

They were eliminated from the Coppa Italia after a 3-0 thrashing by Atalanta, followed by a 2-2 draw with Lazio in Serie A, and then a 3-2 derby defeat to Inter last week.

The biggest upset of all came in Turkey when Galatasaray thrashed the Old Lady 5-2 in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 playoff.

Now, Luciano Spalletti’s men are even more woes after a 2-0 defeat to Como at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, courtesy of goals from Vojvoda and Caqueri.

Juventus’ points tally remained at 46, placing them fifth, two points behind fourth-placed Roma, who face Cremonese on Sunday. A Roma victory would widen the gap to five points.

Meanwhile, Como, under the guidance of the talented Cesc Fabregas, climbed to sixth place, just one point behind Juventus, and continue their quest to qualify for European competition for the first time in their history.
