Moroccan defender Issa Diop is on the verge of a new chapter in the Premier League. Ipswich Town has reached a verbal agreement with Fulham to sign the center-back during the current summer transfer window, following his standout performances with the Morocco national team at the 2026 World Cup.
Diop established himself as one of the tournament’s top defenders, leading the “Atlas Lions” backline with remarkable composure. Leveraging his physical strength, aerial dominance, and ball-playing abilities, he also scored a memorable last-minute goal against the Netherlands in the Round of 32.
