Brahim Diaz’s future is back in the debate within Real Madrid, after the Morocco international sat on the bench throughout the Espanyol match and did not participate in Jose Mourinho’s official debut.
Brahim’s absence comes despite his good appearance during the preparation period and scoring the winning goal against Deportivo La Coruña, which raised questions about his position in the Portuguese coach’s calculations for the new season.
However, journalist Ben Fernandez confirmed that the situation has not changed, that Brahim is not thinking about leaving Real Madrid, and that the management has not informed him of the need to look for a new team before the transfer market closes.
The 27-year-old enjoys Mourinho’s trust and if there was a real desire for him to leave, he would have already begun to study the offers that have come to him, but the option of selling or loaning has not been raised in the first place.
