Cesc Fabregas has entered the calculations of many major clubs in the Italian League because of what he has presented this season with Como in the “football paradise”.
The Spanish coach succeeded in leading Como to promotion to the Italian League last season, and this season is going with them in a positive way and relatively far from the relegation struggle.
According to the newspaper “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, the Milan administration is considering Fabregas as a possible option to succeed Sergio Conceicao in leading the Rossoneri next season.
Although the Portuguese coach was appointed only 3 months ago, he is losing the confidence of the administration due to the decline in results, and it has become certain that once the season ends, he will be dismissed.
The Milan administration views Fabregas as a new version of Xabi Alonso, and just as the latter succeeded with Bayer Leverkusen, the Arsenal legend succeeded in Como, although of course the capabilities differ.
Just as Real Madrid are interested in Alonso, Milan are interested in Fabregas and believe that with the Italian club’s greater potential, he can return the team to compete for championships and European participations.
Fabregas is not the only option that Milan’s management is considering, as Roberto De Zerbi, the current coach of Marseille, and Maurizio Sarri, who has a long history in the Italian league, are also considered.
It is worth noting that Fabregas’ name has also been linked to Roma, which is studying various options to appoint a permanent coach next season after the end of Claudio Ranieri’s interim period.
