Henderson returns to the Premier League with this club!

Jordan Henderson will return to the Premier League once again, but this time with a club other than Liverpool, after agreeing on all the details.

Ajax terminated Henderson’s contract by mutual consent after a year and a half in the Dutch capital. Several offers then appeared on his table, most notably from Porto.

Ultimately, Henderson opted for a return to English football, specifically with Brentford.

According to The Times, an agreement has been reached between Henderson and Brentford, and it is only a matter of time before the 35-year-old’s return to the Premier League is announced.

Porto’s new coach, Francesco Farioli, tried to persuade Henderson to try his first experience in Portugal, especially since the two had a very good season together with Ajax. However, the England international wanted to return home and play in the strongest league in the world.

Henderson’s task will not be easy at Brentford, which is undergoing a major overhaul after the departure of coach Thomas Frank and the loss of several key players this summer. Perhaps that is what attracted the former Liverpool star to this exciting experience.

It is worth noting that Brentford will be Henderson’s fourth English club, having previously played for Sunderland and Coventry City, with his most notable experience being Liverpool.
