According to Foot Mercato, Romelu Lukaku may not leave Serie A when his time with Napoli ends this season, following a tempting offer he received in recent days.
Napoli’s management decided to part ways with the Belgian star this summer after his recent run-in with the club, which also resulted in a hefty fine.
According to the latest report, Lukaku has received an offer from another Italian giant, AC Milan, as the Rossoneri seek to sign a new world-class striker.
Lukaku has extensive experience in Italian football, having played for Inter, Roma, and Napoli. His quality is also guaranteed, even though he has suffered some injuries recently, making him an ideal option for Milan.
It is reported that Napoli would be willing to accept just €20 million to offload Lukaku, whose contract runs until the summer of 2027.
Meanwhile, Milan have explored the possibility of signing the 32-year-old, but have not yet made a final decision on whether to proceed with a written offer, as the Italian club considers several other options.
Robert Lewandowski remains Milan’s dream signing, but the Polish striker is more likely to join Juventus or Major League Soccer than move to the San Siro.
