He will remain in Europe… De Bruyne agrees with his new club

Kevin De Bruyne will continue his career in European football after leaving Manchester City next summer, as he is on the verge of a move to Napoli, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Belgian star has been linked with several clubs in the United States, while the player has made no secret of his desire to remain in Europe, even confirming his openness to playing for a team other than City in the English Premier League.

Recent reports in the Italian press have revealed contact between Napoli and De Bruyne, a significant convergence of views between the two parties, and, most importantly, the 33-year-old’s family is ready to settle in southern Italy.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli has offered De Bruyne a two-year contract with an option to renew for another year, as well as an annual salary of €7 million, significantly less than his last salary with Manchester City.

De Bruyne is tentatively agreeing to the offer, especially since taxes in Italy are not high and he will receive a good salary. The only difference between him and Napoli now is the length of the contract, as he wants a full three-year deal.

Meanwhile, De Bruyne’s wife, De Bruyne, has visited Naples in recent days to explore the city and has felt comfortable there, increasing the likelihood of a deal between the club and her husband being finalized within the next few days.

It should be noted that what increases the likelihood of a deal being finalized is that De Bruyne has been in contact with Romelu Lukaku to find out how things are going in Naples, as well as with one of the club’s legends, Dries Mertens. All responses have been positive, which makes him more motivated to take on this experience.
