Erling Haaland continues to make history, adding another chapter to his record with a brace in Manchester City’s 3-0 victory over West Ham on Saturday in the Premier League.
The Norwegian international’s total Premier League goals for City reached 105 after his two goals, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo’s tally for Manchester United across his two spells at Old Trafford (103 goals), albeit in 122 fewer appearances.
Meanwhile, Haaland has now scored 10 Premier League goals against West Ham, becoming only the third foreign player to achieve this feat, after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Mohamed Salah.
Haaland has also given Manchester City the lead in 10 of their 17 Premier League matches this season, a tally unmatched by any other player.
Haaland increased his Premier League goal tally to 19 this season, extending his lead over closest rival Igor Thiago to eight goals after less than half the season has passed.
Haaland also seized the top spot in the European Golden Shoe standings with 19 goals, surpassing Harry Kane (18 Bundesliga goals) and Kylian Mbappé (17 La Liga goals).
