Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hinted at the possibility of Ederson leaving the English club for Al-Ittihad during the current summer transfer window.
Ederson was on the verge of joining Al-Nassr in recent weeks, but Al-Nassr failed to reach an agreement with Manchester City due to the English club’s high financial demands.
And now the negotiations between Ederson and Al-Ittihad are in very advanced stages, and Guardiola confirms in his statement that he will not stand in the way of the Brazilian goalkeeper’s departure.
When asked about Ederson’s future after the friendly match against Celtic, the Spanish coach replied: “I don’t know.”
He also added in a phrase that hinted that the door is open for the goalkeeper’s departure: “He has to make the decision, not me.”
It is worth noting that Manchester City is demanding 50 to 60 million euros for the sale of Ederson.
