France Football has revealed the five nominees for the Men’s Club of the Year award for the 2025–2026 season, as part of the accolades to be presented at the Ballon d’Or ceremony in London.
The shortlist features Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Brazil’s Flamengo, and the major surprise of the nomination list, Norway’s Bodø/Glimt, who earned their spot alongside European football giants following an extraordinary continental run.
Paris Saint-Germain stand out as the frontrunners to retain the title after securing a five-trophy haul: the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1, the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Trophée des Champions.
Arsenal entered the race after ending a title drought stretching back to 2004 by capturing the Premier League, alongside reaching the finals of both the Champions League and the EFL Cup while assembling an 18-match unbeaten streak.
Bayern Munich submitted a formidable portfolio by sweeping the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and DFL-Supercup, as well as advancing to the Champions League semi-finals—scoring 122 league goals led by Harry Kane’s 61 goals in all competitions.
Flamengo represent Latin American football following a banner season that saw them win the Copa Libertadores, the Brasileirão, and the Campeonato Carioca, before pushing PSG to a penalty shootout in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup final.
Meanwhile, Bodø/Glimt earned their place among the elite by winning the Norwegian Football Cup and reaching the UEFA Champions League round of 16—a run that featured sensational victories over Atlético Madrid, Manchester City, and Inter Milan, alongside a runner-up finish in Eliteserien.
The award covers performances between August 3, 2025, and July 19, 2026, and will be decided by the Ballon d’Or journalism panel based on team performance, titles, victories, and fair play, with the winner announced at the London ceremony on October 26.
