Former Saudi Official: Cristiano Ronaldo Will Move to Al-Hilal

Nasser Al-Huwaidi, former president of the Saudi club Al-Batin, confirmed that it’s only a matter of time before Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Al-Hilal is announced, allowing him to participate in the 2025 Club World Cup.

The possibility of Ronaldo moving to Al-Hilal has been raised in recent weeks, particularly given his anger at the recent developments within Al-Nassr. However, Saudi media outlets confirmed that the Blue Wave’s management completely rejects the idea.

However, according to his own sources, Al-Huwaidi confirms the opposite. He stated in a media statement, “Cristiano Ronaldo is close to moving to Al-Hilal, and this deal will be announced in the coming days.”

He added, “Ronaldo’s participation with Al-Hilal in the Club World Cup will create significant momentum, and Al-Hilal will have the highest attendance in the tournament.”

He continued, “Ronaldo is currently better than Mitrovic, and I don’t think Al-Hilal fans will object to his arrival. Rather, they will welcome him as long as he adds value to the team and contributes to winning championships.”

Al-Huwaidi indicated that Ronaldo won’t be Al-Hilal’s only signing before the global arena. Rather, the Saudi club’s management is planning to sign three other high-profile signings in the coming days.

It’s worth noting that Ronaldo’s move to Al-Hilal will mean he will face his former team, Real Madrid, in the first round of the group stage on June 18, which is expected to generate record viewership and incredible advertising revenue for all involved.
