The newspaper “Sport” reported that Barcelona coach Hansi Flick is extremely upset about the injury Rafinha suffered during Brazil’s friendly match against France last Thursday.
Due to this injury, Rafinha was forced to leave Brazil’s training camp in America and return to Barcelona for treatment. Catalan media outlets indicate that the 28-year-old will be sidelined for at least a month.
Flick has harbored serious doubts since previous international breaks about how national team coaches manage their players, leading to a public spat between him and Spain’s coach, Luis de la Fuente, a few months ago over Lamine Yamal.
Flick’s suspicions have been confirmed once again, this time with Rafinha and Brazil. The German coach doesn’t understand how the player could be brought on immediately after a long and tiring journey, making the injury seem plausible due to poor workload management by the Seleção.
