Mohamed Salah scored his first goal for Liverpool since last November, when he netted against Qarabag in the Champions League.
The “Egyptian King” started the match at Anfield, the final group stage game of the 2026 Champions League.
Liverpool led 3-0 at halftime, and in the 50th minute, the Reds were awarded a penalty just outside the box. Dominik Szoboszlai set up Salah, who expertly converted the spot-kick.
Salah’s last goal for Liverpool came in early November against Aston Villa, in a 2-0 Premier League victory for Arne Slott’s side.
This is Salah’s sixth goal of the season for Liverpool, having scored four in the Premier League and two in the Champions League.
