Yannick Ferreira, Zamalek’s coach, set 3 conditions for the assistant coach who will succeed Hazem Emam on his technical staff in the coming period.
Hazem Emam resigned from his position as Ferreira’s assistant coach, releasing a statement in which he revealed the reason for his resignation due to his feeling of marginalization and some disagreements between him and the Belgian coach.
According to Egyptian media reports, Ferreira asked sporting director John Edward to ensure that the new assistant coach has sufficient experience in the Egyptian league and has previously worked with a local club.
At the same time, Ferreira wants the new assistant coach to be familiar with his role as an assistant coach and to have previously worked in the same position with another foreign coach.
The final condition is that the new assistant coach be fluent in English, enabling him to communicate with the technical staff in an optimal manner that ultimately achieves the desired goals.
John Edward is scheduled to meet with Zamalek president Hussein Labib immediately after the match between the White Castle and Dekedaha next Friday to review the options and make a final decision.
Recent reports indicate that there are three candidates: Ahmed Abdel Raouf, the former coach of Baladiyet El Mahalla, Mahmoud Fathallah, the former assistant coach at Pyramids, and Ahmed Samir, Ayman El Ramadi’s former assistant at Zamalek.
