Estevao quickly makes Chelsea history in his first start!

Estevao earned his first starting appearance for Chelsea in the match against West Ham in the opening match of the second round of the Premier League on Friday.

The Brazilian international had come on as a substitute in the previous round’s match against Crystal Palace, which ended in a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge.

Coach Enzo Maresca decided to start Estevao this time, and the young star did not disappoint. After 34 minutes, he provided an assist for teammate Bruno Fernandes, which resulted in the Blues’ third goal.

With this assist, Estevao became the youngest player in Chelsea’s history to assist a Premier League goal, at 18 years and 120 days.

Chelsea paid €34 million to sign Estevao from Palmeiras, and it appears the Premier League will be hosting a new talent who will lead the Blues’ project.

It’s worth noting that Chelsea secured their first victory of the season, crushing West Ham 5-1 at the London Olympic Stadium.
