Enrique Dedicates Champions League to His Daughter

When Paris Saint-Germain reached the Champions League final, Luis Enrique declared that he dreamed of winning the title for his daughter, Xana, who passed away in 2019 from cancer.

Xana had a famous photo with Enrique after the 2015 Champions League final in Berlin, where she celebrated by placing a Barcelona flag on the pitch. The coach hoped to do the same in 2025, even in her physical absence.

PSG won 5-0 against Inter and won the title, and after the match, he dedicated the title to his daughter.

Enrique told the media, “Xana is not here physically, but she will always be connected to me, and she enjoys all the time with me.”

Winning the Champions League was a special achievement for Enrique, as he became the first coach since Pep Guardiola to achieve the treble in two different countries.

Meanwhile, this was Enrique’s second Champions League title, equalling the achievements of legends such as Sir Alex Ferguson, Jose Mourinho, Arrigo Sacchi and others.
