Ibrahim Adel will move from Emirati club Al Jazira to Danish side Nordsjælland on loan until the end of the season.
The Egyptian star joined Al Jazira last summer from Pyramids FC in a hefty deal worth $3 million.
Adel failed to live up to expectations at Al Jazira, making 11 appearances without scoring or assisting a goal.
According to Egyptian media reports, Nordsjælland will loan the 25-year-old until the end of the season, with an option to buy next summer.
Nordsjælland is not among the top clubs in the Danish league, currently sitting in eighth place. Their last title came in the 2011-12 season.
This move could be an ideal opportunity for one of Egypt’s most promising players to develop further and potentially move to a bigger European club.
Ibrahim Adel had participated with the Egyptian national team in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, and he hopes that the Nordsjælland experience will help him secure his place with the Pharaohs in the 2026 World Cup.
