The draw for the Round of 16 of the Copa del Rey has resulted in seemingly easy but potentially tricky matches for Barcelona and Real Madrid against lower-division opponents.
The two Spanish football giants enter the competition at this stage and will play their matches away from home. The Catalan side, last season’s champions, will travel to face Guadalajara, a third-division team.
Meanwhile, Tala Vera de la Reina, another third-division Spanish team, will host Real Madrid.
Elsewhere, Atlético Madrid will travel to the Balearic Islands to face Atlético Baleares, who eliminated another La Liga team, Espanyol, in the previous round.
This round will also witness the first all-La Liga clash, with Alavés hosting Sevilla.
The matches will be played between December 16 and 18.
