The prevailing sentiment within Real Madrid is to sell Vinicius Junior next summer, given the club’s belief that renewing the Brazilian international’s contract has become extremely complicated, in addition to the disagreements between the player and coach Xabi Alonso.
The Spanish coach downplayed the severity of the disagreements between himself and Vinicius after the Clasico match, while the “El Chiringuito” program indicates that matters between the player and Alonso have reached an impasse, and Real Madrid’s management is fully aware of the current situation.
According to the popular program, renewal negotiations between Real Madrid and Vinicius have completely stalled and collapsed in recent weeks.
Given the player’s high wage demands and his disagreements with Alonso, Real Madrid has made a preliminary decision to sell Vinicius Junior in the summer of 2026. They will not allow him to stay for another year and then leave for free in the summer of 2027.
Real Madrid has set a price tag of just €150 million for Vinicius, a figure that Premier League clubs and Saudi Arabian clubs can afford.
The problem remains that Vinicius’s primary plan is to stay with Real Madrid until the end of his contract – even if he doesn’t renew. Therefore, Florentino Perez’s administration will have to pressure the player to leave next summer, a complex situation with an unpredictable outcome.
