Al-Hilal has made a truly legendary offer to persuade Newcastle United star Alexander Isak to join the Saudi club during the current summer transfer window.
English media outlets reported that Isak informed Newcastle’s management of his desire to leave St. James’ Park this summer after the club refused to offer him double his current salary.
Liverpool is the club most interested in signing the Swedish international this summer, and Al-Hilal has also emerged as a potential destination as the club searches for a new striker, particularly after the failure to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
Details of Al-Hilal’s Legendary Offer to Isak
According to press reports, Al-Hilal has offered Isak an astronomical salary of $800,000 per week, in addition to various bonuses totaling $33 million.
Initially, upon signing with Al-Hilal, Isak will receive a $70 million signing bonus. If he wins the Saudi League title, he will earn an additional $18 million, $19 million if he wins the AFC Champions League, and $8.5 million if he wins the Saudi League’s top scorer award.
The offer also includes additional benefits, including 600,000 Saudi riyals for monthly expenses for himself and his family, four employees, a private driver, and a private jet for him and his family during the international break.
Isak rejects Al-Hilal’s offer and insists on moving to Liverpool
Famous journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Isak said no to the Saudi offer and that he currently only wants to move to Liverpool.
The English club is currently working on submitting what would be the largest offer in Premier League history to persuade Newcastle to sell him, noting that there is a near-agreement between the player’s camp and the Reds’ management on all personal terms of the deal.
Isak believes the opportunity to move to Liverpool is ideal for his career, especially after the Reds’ recent massive summer signings, most notably the signings of Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike, while Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk remain.
