The famous Egyptian coach Ehab Galal passed away on Wednesday after a struggle with illness at the age of 57.
Ehab Galal had suffered a stroke early last month, after which he underwent surgery and has been in a Cairo hospital since then.
In the past few days, news spread about the deterioration of his health after he spent the last period in intensive care.
Before his death, Ehab Galal was the coach of Ismaily throughout the past season, where he succeeded in leading the team to remain in the Egyptian League despite the economic crisis in the club.
Ehab Galal has a great coaching career, and the peak of his brilliance was when he led Misr El-Maqassa to occupy the runner-up position in the Egyptian League.
Ehab Galal took over the coaching of the Egyptian national team for a short period in 2022, and he had previously worked for six months at Zamalek, in addition to several local clubs such as Al-Masry, Enppi, Farco and Pyramids.
