Croatian coach is the frontrunner to succeed Frank at Tottenham

Tottenham are close to finalizing their new manager and have entered negotiations with a renowned Croatian coach to take over from Dane Thomas Frank.

Frank was sacked following Spurs’ defeat to Newcastle last Tuesday, leaving Tottenham in 16th place in the Premier League, just seven points above the relegation zone.

According to English newspapers, Tottenham are keen to appoint former Juventus manager Igor Tudor.

Discussions have already begun between the London club and Tudor’s representatives, who appear interested in the position. An agreement is expected within the next few hours.

This would be Tudor’s first experience in English football, following a long career since 2013 with various prominent European clubs, including PAOK, Galatasaray, Udinese, Marseille, and most recently, Lazio and Juventus.

It is worth noting that Tudor, 47, was dismissed from his position at Juventus last October after 11 matches in the new season, winning only 3, suffering 3 defeats and drawing 5 others.
