Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. made his mark on his debut for Portugal’s under-16 team in a friendly match against Wales on Saturday in the Confederations Cup.
The Al-Nassr player received his first call-up to the under-16 squad after representing his country at the under-15 level last May, where he scored a spectacular goal against Croatia.
Junior quickly found the net for Portugal, scoring a brilliant goal against Wales in the friendly, which the Sailors won 3-0.
Junior capitalized on a superb through ball that put him through on goal, firing a low shot into the far right corner of the net, reminiscent of his father’s goal for Real Madrid against Bayern Munich in the 2014 Champions League semi-final.
