Igor Tudor will remain as Tottenham manager for the upcoming match against Liverpool at Anfield in the Premier League.
Tottenham suffered a heavy 5-2 defeat in the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie against Atlético Madrid in the Spanish capital.
The Croatian manager was on the verge of being sacked just a month after his appointment due to poor results.
However, on Wednesday, Tottenham confirmed to reporters that Tudor would attend Friday’s pre-match press conference for the Liverpool game as usual, confirming his continued tenure at least until Sunday.
Tudor took over at Tottenham on an interim basis until the end of the season, but has failed to secure a single victory in his four matches in charge, marking the worst start for a manager in the club’s history.
Under Tudor’s leadership, Tottenham has slipped to 16th place with 29 points, just one point above the relegation zone.
