Champions League Madness: Juventus’ Fantastic Comeback Against Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund and Juventus’ match in the first round of the Champions League group stage was a huge success, with the two teams drawing 4-4.

The first half didn’t suggest this would be the final score, as the two teams played out a goalless draw, with neither side threatening to score.

However, in the second half, the situation turned 180 degrees. Karim Adeyemi scored for Dortmund in the 52nd minute, followed by Kenan Yildiz equalizing for Juventus in the 62nd minute. Nemeša restored the lead for the Germans in the 65th minute, and Dušan Vlahovic equalized for the Old Lady in the 67th minute.

What happened next was pure madness. Dortmund took the lead with two more goals from Yann Couto and Ramy Bensebaini in the 74th and 86th minutes, and everyone at the Allianz Stadium thought the German team would come back with the three points.

But in the 94th minute, Vlahovic scored a penalty to reduce the deficit, and the Allianz Stadium erupted in joy with a last-gasp equalizer, courtesy of Lloyd Kelly’s goal.

We leave you with the historic moment…
