The draw for the 2025-26 CAF Champions League group stage has produced a number of exciting matchups.
Pyramids FC are the defending champions, and this season’s Confederation Cup winners, RS Berkane, are also participating. There is a strong Arab presence, led by the most successful club in the competition’s history, Al Ahly of Egypt.
The competition will also be fierce, particularly with the South African teams, represented by last season’s runners-up, Mamelodi Sundowns, along with other strong clubs such as Simba SC of Tanzania, MC Alger of Algeria, Young Africans of Sudan, and Al Hilal of Sudan.
