The opening match of the sixth round of the English Premier League was extremely exciting, as Manchester United met Brentford at the latter’s stadium in London.
Brentford entered the match with flying colors, scoring two goals in the first 20 minutes through Thiago, which increased the difficulties for coach Ruben Amorim’s squad.
In the 26th minute, Benjamin Sisko scored his first Premier League goal for United, reducing the deficit. United then began searching for an equalizer.
The Red Devils had a chance to equalize, specifically in the 75th minute, when United won a penalty kick, but Bruno Fernandes shot weakly, and goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher succeeded in saving it.

In the final minute, Mathis Jansen ended United’s hopes of a comeback, scoring the third goal, inflicting the giant club’s third defeat in six Premier League matches this season.
After this defeat, Manchester United’s points tally remained at 13th place, and by the end of the round, the Red Devils could end up in a much worse position.
This defeat once again raises many questions about the future of coach Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford, given that this is the worst start to the season since the 1990s.
It has been announced so far that Amorim will remain in his position, but after this defeat, further reports of a loss of confidence among both the players and the management will emerge. This could be the beginning of the end of the Portuguese’s deeply disappointing career at the Theatre of Dreams.
