Brahim Diaz decides to leave Real Madrid

Brahim Diaz is determined to leave Real Madrid next summer in search of a new club that will offer him consistent playing time.

The Moroccan international is seen as the 12th man at the Bernabéu, always the first substitute, and rarely starts, a situation he is not entirely happy with.

According to Spanish media, later confirmed by their Moroccan counterparts, Diaz wants regular playing time and doesn’t want to wait for matches to become more difficult to get on the pitch.

Diaz understands that playing regularly will maintain his development and ensure his continued participation with the Moroccan national team. Therefore, he is considering leaving next summer if he receives an offer that meets his technical and financial ambitions.

Surprisingly, Real Madrid doesn’t seem to object to Diaz’s departure next summer. Turkish journalist Akram Konur indicates that Florentino Pérez’s administration has set a price tag of €40-45 million for the Moroccan international.

The 25-year-old is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs, and given his price tag and technical ability, he is expected to be the subject of intense competition in the upcoming transfer window.

It’s worth noting that Diaz’s contract with Real Madrid runs until the summer of 2027, and while there are reports of an agreement between the player and the club to extend his contract, no official announcement has yet been made.
