Bellingham: I won the Ballon d’Or in another way!

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham considered that he won the Ballon d’Or by winning the Champions League, noting that finishing third is not a problem for him.

The England international was present at the press conference before the Liverpool match, where he was asked about the Ballon d’Or and his position, as well as his comment on Rodri’s victory and not Vinicius Junior’s.

Bellingham responded to Rodri’s point by saying, “A Real Madrid player should have won the Ballon d’Or, especially Vinicius Junior.”

He also added, “This is just my opinion and not against Rodri, he is undoubtedly a great player, but last season was clearly our season.”

Regarding his position in the Ballon d’Or, he replied, “When we won the Champions League, this achievement was the Ballon d’Or for me, and to be appreciated at the best club in the world is enough for me.”

He continued, speaking about the decrease in the number of goals he scored this season, “I feel that my scoring sense has started to return to me again.”

“I suffered a lot after losing the Euros, I felt like I was the scapegoat, but I never lost my smile at Real Madrid,” he concluded.
