Bayern Munich’s management made a very surprising move towards Joshua Kimmich despite the progress of negotiations between the two parties to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the current season.
According to Sky Sports, Bayern’s management withdrew its offer to Kimmich to renew his contract due to his delay in responding.
The Bavarian club’s management cannot understand why Kimmich has not yet agreed to the renewal, although he was given everything he asked for financially and athletically, and all he had to do was sign the new contract.
However, the 30-year-old was very hesitant and did not make a decisive decision, which angered Bayern Munich’s management a lot and made them decide to withdraw the official offer submitted to him.
Bild newspaper confirmed that withdrawing the offer does not necessarily mean that the player will leave and that there is no hope for him to continue with the Allianz Arena.
Negotiations between Kimmich’s camp and Bayern Munich’s management are expected to be renewed in the coming period, but it is clear that Max Eberl’s management will not offer the same big offer that it gave the player in the last two weeks.
According to the German newspaper, there are already 3 clubs closely monitoring what is happening with Kimmich, namely Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Inter, knowing that the German international prefers to move to England or Spain if he leaves the Bundesliga.
It is worth noting that Kimmich has been frequently linked with joining Barcelona and Real Madrid in particular, but interest froze with the announcement that he is very close to renewing his contract with Bayern Munich, and with the recent stumble, the two Spanish football giants may return to the picture.
