AS reported that a full Barcelona delegation will travel to Paris to attend the 2025 Ballon d’Or Gala, led by coach Hansi Flick and Catalan star Lamine Yamal.
The Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place next Monday, and as soon as Barcelona finishes its match against Getafe, a 21-member delegation will head to Paris, including club officials, players, and coaches from the men’s and women’s teams.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta will travel to the ceremony himself, and Hansi Flick has also decided to attend. From the men’s team, only Lamine Yamal, Pau Coparsi, and Rafinha will be present. Pedri and Robert Lewandowski have decided not to participate.
According to AS, Pedri prefers to stay in Barcelona and rest in preparation for the upcoming period, which is full of matches, especially since he knows he will not win any awards this year. Robert Lewandowski has also made the same decision.
Rafinha and Jamal are competing for the Ballon d’Or, which currently appears to be much closer to Ousmane Dembélé, while Flick is in the running for the Best FIFA Men’s Coach award, and Pau Kopa is on the final list for the world’s best young player (Raymond Kopa Award).
