After Rafinha scored the first goal in the 70th minute and celebrations erupted in the Blaugrana stands, Barça fans immediately began chanting “Xabi Alonso, stay!” in unison.

Alonso’s start with Real Madrid was promising, and he even won El Clásico last October, extending their lead over Barcelona to five points before their complete collapse in November and early December.
