Arsenal star out for two months with injury

Recent medical news regarding Noni Madueke has reassured Arsenal fans following the injury he sustained in last Saturday’s match against Manchester City.

The atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium was pessimistic after the injury appeared serious, with some speculating that he likely suffered a torn cruciate ligament and was likely season-ending.

The Athletic reported that Madueke underwent medical tests in the last few hours, and the results were reassuring, confirming that the cruciate ligament was not torn.

In general, the England international is suffering from a knee ligament injury, but it is not serious. He will need two months to recover and return to action for the London club.

Madueke will miss Premier League matches against Newcastle, West Ham, Fulham, Crystal Palace, Burnley, and Sunderland, as well as Champions League matches against Olympiacos, Atletico Madrid, and Slavia Prague.

If all goes as planned, Madueke could return in the derby against Tottenham on November 23, or later against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
