Spanish media reports indicate that Álvaro Arbeloa is unconvinced by the abilities of one of Real Madrid’s key players, to the point that he has informed the club’s management that he should be put up for sale in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Arbeloa has given Eduardo Camavinga several opportunities since taking over as Real Madrid coach in January, attempting to utilize him in midfield or at left-back, but he has not seen enough to justify the French player’s continued presence at the Santiago Bernabéu.
According to recent reports, Arbeloa has advised Florentino Pérez’s administration to let Camavinga go, considering his performances questionable. It is clear that injuries have significantly impacted the 24-year-old’s physical and mental condition.
It is said that Camavinga is now out of Arbeloa’s plans for the remainder of the season and will only be used as a substitute, especially given the shortage of players at left-back.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s management is not ruling out selling Camavinga or any other player next summer. No one is immune after the poor performances of everyone over the past two years, and Florentino Pérez is keen to make significant changes during the transfer window.
Real Madrid would welcome an offer of at least €70 million for Camavinga. Liverpool has been the club most interested in signing the French international for years, and it seems the opportunity is now ripe to finalize the deal easily.
