Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti insists on the need for his club to enter the summer transfer market and sign at least one player in light of the injuries that continue to haunt Los Blancos.
Real Madrid lost one of its most important players, Dani Carvajal, after he suffered a rupture in 3 ligaments and was confirmed to be absent from the stadiums for at least a year.
According to the newspaper “Marca”, Ancelotti met with the club’s general manager, Jose Angel Sanchez, and sporting director Santiago Solari, to discuss the current situation and what should be done.
Ancelotti reiterated his demands for the duo to support the team, especially in the defense positions, and the duo agreed with him on that.
But the current crisis lies in the fact that Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, refuses to enter the winter market and believes that the current team is capable of achieving the desired goals.
Sanchez and Solari will try to convince Perez to change his policy of always refusing to make winter deals, especially since Ancelotti is pushing with all his might to give him the necessary support and sees that the season is in danger if new deals are not made.
It remains to be noted that Real Madrid still needs a central defender in particular in light of the presence of the duo Eder Militao and Antonio Rudiger, in addition to the right-back position, which currently only contains Lucas Vazquez.
