An exceptional scissor kick from Joao Felix saves Barcelona from the Cadiz trap (video)

Barcelona succeeded in achieving an important victory over its host Cadiz, with an unanswered goal, in the match of the 31st round of the Spanish League, which was held on Saturday.

The Catalan club participated with a squad of second-line players in light of the pressure of matches and preparations for the Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid summits next week.

The victory and rescue goal came from Joao Felix in the 35th minute, from an exceptional double back kick, thus continuing its dominance over Cadiz in particular.

This is the sixth goal scored by the Portuguese against Cadiz (whether with Barcelona or Atletico Madrid) in the 5 matches he played in La Liga, and it is his best record against any club in his career.

With this victory, Barcelona took advantage of Girona’s loss to Atletico Madrid, raising the difference between them to 5 points, while continuing the 8-point difference with Real Madrid before the Clásico scheduled for next Sunday.

The indication remains that Barcelona will host Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals next Tuesday after winning last week 3-2 in the first leg at the Princes’ Park Stadium.
