Al-Nassr succeeds in reuniting Ronaldo with his former teammate

Al-Nassr is close to concluding its first summer deal, as an agreement is imminent with Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny to join coach Luis Castro’s squad.

Despite what was reported in recent days that Chesney refuses to join the Saudi League, things were very different with Al-Nassr huge offer to him in the last hours.

According to the famous journalist Fabrizio Romano, the negotiations between Szczesny and Al-Nassr have reached advanced stages and are a matter of hours and all the details will be resolved.

The Saudi club will pay 5 million euros to Juventus to buy Szczesny, with the 31-year-old’s contract extending for two years until the summer of 2026.

The salary that the Polish goalkeeper will receive at Awl Park has not been announced, but it is expected to exceed 10 million euros annually.

Al-Nassr’s contract with Szczesny comes to replace Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina, whose contract expires at the end of the past season, and it has been decided that he will leave the Castro squad.

It is noteworthy that Szczesny collaborated with Cristiano Ronaldo for 3 years in Juventus, and the two have a good relationship that may have helped in one way or another to convince the player to join “Fares Najd”.
