Al-Nassr Offers Salah a Astronomical Salary to Replace Ronaldo

Al-Nassr will attempt to convince Mohamed Salah to join the Saudi club, and their primary strategy is to offer the “Egyptian King” an irresistible financial package.

Al-Nassr has chosen Salah to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s successor at their home ground, Park, amid speculation that Ronaldo is nearing the end of his time in Saudi Arabia and will move to the MLS after the current season.

Salah is currently one of the highest-paid players in the English Premier League, earning £400,000 per week with Liverpool.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Al-Nassr is prepared to offer Salah three times his current salary, bringing the 33-year-old’s weekly wage to £1.2 million, or £4.8 million per month, for a total salary of £60 million, in addition to endorsements, image rights, and other benefits.

From Liverpool’s perspective, they wouldn’t object to Salah leaving. The club believes the Egyptian is no longer the player he once was, and therefore it would be beneficial to save on his substantial salary. Furthermore, this represents their last chance to generate revenue from him, given that his contract expires in the summer of 2027.

Salah is not expected to reject the Saudi offer to succeed Ronaldo. He previously expressed interest in a move to the Saudi league back in the summer of 2023, but Liverpool blocked his transfers to Al-Ittihad and Al-Hilal on several occasions.
