Al-Nassr is trying to sign a Bundesliga star

Sky Sports revealed that negotiations have begun between Al-Nassr and a German defender to secure his services this summer.

The Saudi club had agreed on all the details with David Hancko before deciding to cancel the contract with the Feyenoord player, sparking intense anger in the Dutch press against Saudi officials.

According to a recent report from Sky Germany, Stuttgart defender Jeff Chabot is Al-Nassr’s new target. Negotiations between the two parties began in the past few hours, and things appear to be progressing very favorably.

Chabot’s contract with Stuttgart still runs until the summer of 2028, but inside the German club, there would be a welcome sale of the defender if a substantial financial offer, as expected from Al-Nassr, were received.

Chabot moved to Stuttgart last summer for just €4 million, and it is reported that the German club would allow him to leave if they received an offer exceeding €20 million.

The 27-year-old defender, who is tall and strong and plays with his left foot, played 45 matches last season, scoring three goals and providing one assist. He also won the German Cup, Stuttgart’s first since 2007.
